With Catherine Bishop
Ability to reflect on one’s own practice is a core competency for psychologists across all areas of practice. It involves the ability to critically evaluate our own practice, including understanding how our own biases, opinions, and assumptions may influence our actions in professional settings; acknowledging what we did well; considering alternate courses of action and areas for improvement; identifying what we do not yet know and areas for further learning and development; and making plans for future practice. This session will provide a framework for supervisees to engage in reflective practice and will provide opportunity to practice the reflective process.
